As Villa Mahal Turistik Tesisleri İnşaat Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. (hereinafter referred to as "Hotel Villa Mahal"), we deeply value the security of your personal data and respect your privacy. In accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("the Law"), we hereby inform you about the conditions under which your personal data is obtained, how it is processed, our commitment to protecting it, and your rights regarding this personal information.
a) Definitions
Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Relevant Person: The natural person whose personal data is processed. KVKK: Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, published in the Official Gazette on 7 April 2016. Data Controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data filing system.
b) Categories of Personal Data Processed
Identity Information: Name, surname, Turkish ID number, place and date of birth, nationality, passport number. Contact Information: Address, phone number, email address. Financial Information: Bank account details, credit card information. Special Categories of Personal Data: Photograph, smoking status, allergy information, medication usage. Other: Room number, vehicle license plate, camera footage, signature, IP address, website visit data.
c) How We Collect Your Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through various channels including: information shared with our staff or suppliers, forms submitted via our website and social media, reservation forms completed at our hotel, online booking platforms and travel agencies we partner with, preferences shared during your stay, security cameras, guest satisfaction surveys, invoicing and payment transactions, cookies used during website visits, and job applications.
d) Processing of Your Personal Data
Your personal data is processed in accordance with Article 5(2) of the KVKK, under the legal bases of explicit provisions by law, necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfilment of legal obligations, and the establishment or protection of a right. For marketing communications, your explicit consent will be obtained.
Processing purposes include: management of accommodation services, reporting to the Gendarmerie, measurement and improvement of guest satisfaction, pursuit of legal matters, financial and accounting operations, fulfilment of transfer and activity requests, recruitment processes, and legally required archiving activities.
e) Storage and Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data is stored confidentially on Hotel Villa Mahal's accounting software and in printed form, in accordance with KVKK's "Technical and Administrative Measures Guidelines". Your personal data is not transferred abroad.
f) Rights of the Data Subject
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed, request information about the processing, learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly, learn the third parties to whom your data has been transferred within or outside the country, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion, object to adverse outcomes resulting from automated analysis, and request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
